The Ipad Revolution

Recently my wife and I became victims to the Ipad virus that is spreading around the globe. I was initially very skeptical of the usefulness of this device, but getting a hands on experience with it convinced me that it is the real deal.

I am a big proponent of digital media especially EBooks. I have been reading books primarily electronically for a couple of years now and I bout a Kindle last year. Having the power to read books, surf the web, watch videos, and eve play a game all on a device small enough to carry around like a book is just too enticing to pass up.

So far I have not been disappointed. The device has performed exactly as expected and I use it every day. It doesn’t replace my desktop computer or even totally my net book which I use to sync my Ipad when I’m traveling, but it has been a fantastic way for me to relax and get the latest news or read a book, and play a game.

I am, at heart, a software developer though I am currently managing a small Information Technology department for a mid sized company located in my hometown of Jacksonville, FL. When I am not playing with the latest smart-phone or trying to become inspired to write code I read almost anything I can get my hands on from Pulp Era adventures to biographies of world leaders and everything in between.
