Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway..

So I survived the air travel portion of the tip out here with little to report. The flight from Jacksonville to Houston was only remarkable in that they had an air conditioning problem that forced them to lower their altitude by 12,000 feet. This forced them to reduce air speed to make the trip with the fuel they had and increased our flight time by 20 minutes. I had an hour and a half layover in Houston anyway so I didn’t mind and it allowed me to watch two episodes of Kyle XY on my Ipod.

The flight from Houston to Phoenix was quiet and I listened to an episode of Wait wait don’t tell me (NPR news quiz) and the Pilot episode to Raines. Not a bad show..did it get cancelled already ? 🙂

I’m now travelling in a cab toward my hotel. is great far. I’m sure something will happen later to make me crazy.

Its very warm..not feeling a dry heat either. The cab’s air conditioning seems like its blowing out dusty warm air.

And don’t ask me why I’m channeling Willie Nelson on this trip..I have no idea.

I am, at heart, a software developer though I am currently managing a small Information Technology department for a mid sized company located in my hometown of Jacksonville, FL. When I am not playing with the latest smart-phone or trying to become inspired to write code I read almost anything I can get my hands on from Pulp Era adventures to biographies of world leaders and everything in between.
